Sunsational Stamps Design Team Call

Have you ever wanted to be on a design team? Or be part of a creative team that let’s you work with new products and do your own thing? Would you like to create art to be used for trade shows, print publications and online publications? At Sunsational Stamps, we are on the hunt for good artists, designers, crafters and makers who love to create.
What I am looking for:
1. Mixed Media Artists, who like to paint, collage, create assemblage pieces.
2. Paper Crafters, whether it’s stamping, cardmaking, scrapbooking, you’ll love working with my stamps. I will eventually be adding more products such as dies, paper lines, ink pads and other embellishments.
3. Watercolor Artists, if you’re an accomplished painter or a budding watercolorist, I’d love to see what you can do with my stamps.
I’m really looking for artists with some “out of the box” ideas, a “can do” attitude, and willingness to try new things…, creating without boundaries.
Are you good with social media? The ability to share content and ideas is really important to everything we do today. If you’d like to be part of the team, you must be good on social media. Do you like Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube, Periscope, and Facebook? I would like to find team members who are comfortable with many social media platforms. I want team members that have an active YouTube channel with a high amount of followers and lots of views on your videos. You must be good at getting the word out there about my products.
Design Team Duties:
You will be doing one project every other week of your choice. Then you will do one extra project per month to showcase during our New Release Blog Hop. In the near future TBD, you will receive a goodie package each month for use to create your projects with. You will receive 50% discount off on our stamps.
What I’d like to develop is an organic, fluid, growing, creative team composed of artists with diverse backgrounds who love to create for the joy of creating… “art for art’s sake.” The perfect candidate will be a motivator, an active participant on the dt, a cheerleader, and will have good organizational skills required to help me build my product lines and gain that brand recognition. Use our products and link to our website, our fan page and blog whenever possible. Actively promote Sunsational Stamps featuring our stamps and other product lines coming soon- including social media. You must have a passion to create pretty things. You must have good photography skills, experience creating tutorials or instructions to complete craft projects.
How to apply:
Send an email to Lisa and tell me about yourself and why you’d like to be part of our maker team! Include any links that you think are pertinent such as instagram, youtube, your blog, facebook pages, pinterest, and links to your best work online. I can’t wait to see what you’ve created. I’d like to get a good representation of what you do! Do you teach? Let me know about your teaching gigs. You can tell me anything that you want that will make you stand out from the crowd. You really want to grab my attention? Make and post a YouTube video about why you’d like to be on our team!
I will be accepting submissions until  April 18, 2017. I can hardly wait to see what you’ve created.
And please let me know if you have any questions…I’m always happy to help. Thank you and good luck! Lisa

Happy Easter

Today I pulled out on of my polymer stamps!
Shocker right?  I've neglected my stamps for so long.
I did some paper piecing with this one, using the Flower girl image as an Easter theme.

I stamped her 3 times, once on the skin tone, once on brown for the basket and once on the pink for her dress.  I then cut everything out with my (gasp) scissors!! NO CAMEO on this card!
Maybe I'm getting ill...

I used some die cuts instead of my Cameo.  We have a local lady who sets up a store at the flea market, she sells her cuts from her dies for quarter or 50 cents so it's very affordable for me.
I used gel pens to color as well as sharpies.

Don't forget, there's a design team call going on! Be sure to submit your emails to Lisa!

Sew loved

Today I'm sharing a sweet mother's day card.
I kept it simple and added some real twine to the thread image and some gems to the top of the pins.
I was going to add some real buttons but I felt it was too busy.
I wanted it to look like a sewing table.

Kiss me

St. Patrick's day is right around the corner! Where did February go?

I used the digital image and cut an extra pair of legs and lips to pop them up and added crystal effects to her eyes and lips.

Beach day

Today I'm using the little crab and taking a trip to the beach!

I created the background using digital papers then printed and cut out my pieces.
I love adding real shells to beach cards.

Out of this world

I'm using the alien set today for this fun Valentine card.

I used my digital papers to create this card.  I printed everything and let my Cameo cut the pieces out.

Batty for you

Today I'm using Batty for you.  I really love these bats, they are so cute!

I used my digital papers for this one, aren't these colors pretty?

I mounted the bat on an action wobble so when you open the card she sways. SO fun!!
Excuse the clothes pin holding the card closed here, with the action wobble it wanted to pop open.

Sweet friend

Hello, it's Monday already?  How is that possible?

Today I've got a cute little bear with a chocolate kiss.
This is from the Addicted to Chocolate bears set.
I am still trying to get comfortable with my new Cricut and I actually did the print and cut with that machine! I was impressed, no tracing, just import it and tell it to print then cut.  It even cut the little spaces between his head and his hat straps.

I pulled out my fun acrylic embellishments to add to the fun.
I bought the jar die cut through Wish.com.  I was leary ordering from them since it was only a dollar but it it pretty cute.  It cut the paper fine, but I had to add a paper shim to get it to cut the acetate.
My little friend looks kind of sad to be trapped in the jar, or maybe he's worried he will get eaten too!
Thanks for stopping by, I hope I made you smile today!
